After practicing law with a Seattle firm, Ed began his commercial real estate career in 1986. In 1988, he was recruited to join the CB Commercial Real Estate Group (now CB Richard Ellis), where he quickly established himself as one of the firm’s top professionals. One of the first in the area to focus on the tenant side of office lease transactions, Ed developed a proven process for tenant advocacy that continues to serve his clients very well.
In 1997, Ed joined other like-minded professionals to found Washington Partners where he helped build one of Seattle’s preeminent tenant advocacy firms. Information published by local industry leaders indicates that in recent years he and his partners have negotiated more office leases on behalf of tenants than any other Seattle firm.
Ed prides himself in his honest and straightforward counsel to clients. His business ethic and diligence have earned him the respect of tenants and landlords alike.
