F5 was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Seattle. The company’s mission is to be the leader in Internet traffic and content management space.
When Washington Partners first became involved in representing F5, the firm leased 19,000 square feet in the First West Building on Lower Queen Anne. Initially, F5 thought they would need a new lease for 60,000 square feet. However, this requirement quickly grew to over 200,000 square feet which dictated relocation. Since then, F5 has expanded to over 300,000 square feet in a newly constructed corporate headquarters building that accommodated F5’s significant electrical and mechanical requirements.
