Microvision is the world leader in high-resolution scanned beam display and imaging systems built upon the company’s proprietary silicon micro-mirror technology.
A substantial capital investment had been made by Microvision at their previous location, including laser laboratories, a prototype manufacturing area and a Class 10,000 clean room. There was concern about the cost of rebuilding these special need facilities in another location and being able to save money by relocating. After thorough investigating, Washington Partners negotiated Microvision into a new 68,000 square foot lease where the landlord agreed to fund a reconstruction project that allowed the company not only to replicate its previous facility, but re-engineer the work flow and adjacencies to be more compatible with the company’s current operations and objectives.
